Virtual visits are for established patients with mild skin concerns. Simply take two pictures of your area of concern, send them to us through the Telehealth app, and receive advice from one of our dermatologists.

Who can use the Telehealth app?
The Telehealth app is only for established patients who have been seen by our dermatologists before. This service is not meant to replace in-office visits and is intended to be a supplemental way to get a diagnosis and treatment for mild dermatology concerns.
Patients with have a history of melanoma, conditions that require a full body skin check, and women who are pregnant should come into our office for an evaluation. If you have a condition that requires immediate attention, please call us or seek emergency medical care.
If you are a new patient, please call our office or book online to set up your first appointment. We value personalized care, and we want to get to know you and your skin before using virtual visits.
How do I download the app?
Go to the App Store or Google Play and search for “modmed Telehealth” and download the app onto your device.
Do I have to pay for the app?
No, the Telehealth app is free to download, however, there is a $50 office fee and a $10 technical fee for using the service.
How do I log in to the app?
Use the Provider URL: marketstderm.ema.md
Please use your patient portal username and password to begin your visit.
When should I use the Telehealth app?
You should use this service ONLY in the following cases:
- Acne
- Rashes
- Certain skin lesions
- Sunburns
- Discolorations
- Skin irritation
- Poison Ivy
- Cosmetic follow up
- Routine wound care
