Coolsculpting^®

Coolsculpting^® is a non-invasive procedure designed to reduce unwanted fat in various areas of the body. The procedure uses controlled cooling at the surface of the skin. The fat cells, highly susceptible to cold temperatures, break down and are subsequently eliminated from the body by natural processes. Coolsculpting^® can change the appearance of visibly-localized bulges of fat by up to 25%. It is not a treatment for obesity or weight loss. Coolsculpting^® is best for stubborn fat that does not respond to diet and exercise. Because the treatments are non-invasive, the procedure is comfortable and does not require sedation. Results are seen after one to three months of the procedure and can be permanent if weight remains stable.
